An option has been provided in the Arc Flash study setup window to employ a simplified method for calculating Incident Energy when multiple protection devices have cleared the fault, rather than the default method of calculating Incident Energy after each protection device has operated and then summing all of the calculated values together. The simplified method uses the initial fault current and total fault duration to calculate a single Incident Energy result.
