An option called 'Cut Selection...' has been added to the Frame operations pop-up menu to enable you to cut a selected area of the diagram. When the option is selected, click and hold down the mouse left button and drag a dotted box around the elements to be cut. On releasing the mouse left button all elements within the dotted box will be highlighted and you will be requested to confirm whether you want to continue. If you accept the selected elements will be cut to the clipboard for pasting into an ERACS network. Please note that any busbars with connections to busbars outside the block will be copied.
All libraries are now included with the network database when the 'Zip Database' option is selected.

If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your machine, selecting one of these items will automatically start the reader with the appropriate manual loaded. Please note that it will be necessary to download and install the manuals separately. To download the manuals connect to our ftp site (ftp://www.era.co.uk/eracs) and downloaded the file called EracsMan.exe. This is a self extracting zip archive which contains the three manuals in pdf format. To install the manuals execute EracsMan.exe. By default it will place the files in C:ERACSManuals. The files must be placed in a sub-directory called Manuals, off of the main ERACS directory. For example, if you have installed your from copy of ERACS in D:ERACS then the manuals should be extracted to D:ERACSManuals.
