<< IMPORTANT NOTICE >>
Development of and support for the ERACS software product will come to an end on 21 December 2023. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further assistance.
Details of new features & fixes across the ERACS versions.
Prysmian Protomont flexible trailing mining cables types 7,7M,7S,11,201,211,307,307M, 307S,321,331 & 631 have been added to the Reference Library.
ERACS has been modified so that it can operate over Windows remote desktop connection.
The following input signal has been provided for DFIG, controlled shunt and wind turbine simulations: Sensed busbar Frequency (pu).
The following input signals have been included for DFIG, controlled shunt and wind turbine simulations: Terminal Frequency (pu, 1, 1) Terminal Voltage Magnitude (pu, 1, 1) Terminal Real Voltage (pu) and Terminal Reactive Voltage (pu).
Ferraz Shawmut type A033D1, A055D1 & A072D1 fuses have been included in the Reference Library.
A number of keywords, known as "ERACS Properties" have been created. If these properties are included in text that appears on the network diagram or protection graphs they will be replaced by a specific value. For example, one of the properties is "[NetworkName]". The value for this property is the name of the currently open network. If you were to add the following text, "Network Name: [NetworkName]" to a network called "Springfield Road Water Treatment Works", when the text is drawn on the diagram it would appear as "Network Name: Springfield Road Water Treatment Works".
The tutorial manuals 1 & 2 have been updated.
The library key description field has been increased from 40 to 80 characters to accommodate more detailed information.
A facility has been included in the Arc Flash Hazard module to allow users to generate customised Arc Flash Hazard Warning Labels. Data fields can be added to a Warning Label template as required.
The single line diagram refresh time has been significantly reduced. On our test network (over 500 busbars) the refresh time was reduced from 163ms to 47ms.
Siemens ARGUS and SIPROTEC protection relays have been included in our reference library following the supply of data from Siemens.
Copper Wire and Copper Tape have been included in the Metallic Sheath/Screen drop down list under Cable, General Information.
The copy library keys facilities (individual and multiple) have been improved so that you are prevented from creating duplicate entries.
Cable withstand calculations to BS standard have been implemented. This has enabled cable withstand curves to be included on protection co-ordination plots and for the protection calculation to provide an indication of whether a cable withstand has been exceeded.
