<< IMPORTANT NOTICE >>
Development of and support for the ERACS software product will come to an end on 21 December 2023. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further assistance.
Details of new features & fixes across the ERACS versions.
Models of Schneider Electric's MTZ2 25 H2 air circuit breaker and Micrologic 2.0 X, 5.0 X & 6.0 X trip units have been included in our reference library.
A model of the Westinghouse, formally Ottermill, OMA12 1000A air circuit breaker, together with its Pow-R Trip 7 trip unit has been included in our reference library.
Additional controls have been added to the Element Find facility that enable the list of elements to be easily searched and filtered.
Further information about this feature is available using the associated link below.
Models of the Eaton IZMX16B, IZMX16H and IZMX40B air circuit breakers, together with Digitrip and 2016 trip units PXRP and PXRV, have been included in our reference library.
Models of the ABB E1.2N 1000 & E2.2N 800 ACBs, together with LI, LSI, LSIG DIP, Touch and Hi-Touch trip units have been added to our reference library.
Models that represent the overcurrent and earth-fault functions provided by the Siemens 7SG18 Solkor N protection relay have been added to our reference library.
A model representing the Siemens 3NA3 3xx-6 fuse family has been included in our reference library.
A model representing the Mersen NH2UD69V fuse family has been added to our reference library.
The element Find facility is now available following a protection study.
Diagram Pan Mode can now be toggled by clicking the middle mouse button.
Models of Prysmian Triplex 11kV aluminium 95mm², 185mm² & 300mm² single-core cables have been included in our reference library.
A model of Susol UAH-32E3-32 ACB and associated N Type overcurrent & earth-fault electronic trip units have been added to our reference library.
Further information about this feature is available using the associated link below.
A model of the Siemens SENTRON MCCB and associated 3VL95**7DC** thermal-magnetic overcurrent release has been added to our reference library.
Relay models that represent overcurrent, earth-fault 1 & 2 and sensitive earth-fault functions provided by the Alstom MiCOM P40 Agile P14D IED have been included in our reference library.
Relay models that represent the overcurrent and earth-fault functions provided by the Woodward WIP1 relay have been included in our reference library.
A new Arc Flash Risk Assessment warning label template that includes equipment description in the same cell as equipment identifier has been created. The new template is named ArcFlashHazardLabels_Option5_2015.dot. To select the new template:
Protection Co-ordination study results are now presented in a tabular format. Options are available to export the results in various formats, including: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, XML, HTML and CSV.
Transient Stability study results are now presented in a tabular format. Options are available to export the results in various formats, including: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, XML, HTML and CSV.
IEC909 study results are now presented in a tabular format. Options are available to export the results in various formats, including: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, XML, HTML and CSV.
Relay models that represent the directional and non-directional phase and ground overcurrent functions provided by the Siemens SIPROTEC 5, 7SJ82/7SJ85 relays have been included in our reference library.
A Sequence of Operation facility has been made available after a Protection Co-ordination study has been performed. The facility presents a chart, in the form of a timeline, and a table that lists the protection devices and switchgear that have operated in an attempt to clear the fault that has been applied.
Fault study results are now presented in a tabular format. Options are available to export the results in various formats, including: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, XML, HTML and CSV.
A Library Key Usage facility has been created and is available via the ERACS File menu. The facility presents a list of all keys (models) contained in the library used by one of the single-line diagrams in the currently open ERACS database. The information presented includes the key name, description, type and whether it is in use by the single-line diagram.
Relay models that represent the overcurrent & earth-fault functions of the Schneider MiCOM P521 protection relay have been added to our reference library.
A Loadflow study setup panel has been created, which enables you to review and set Loadflow parameters prior to a Loadflow study being executed. By default, the setup panel will be displayed. However, an option has been included that enables you to choose whether the panel is shown.
If a Loadflow-dependent calculation (e.g. Fault) is launched and Loadflow results are not available, rather than a message being presented and the user having to manually execute the Loadflow calculation, ERACS will now execute the Loadflow calculation automatically.
Models of the Schneider Electric three-phase mineral oil or MIDEL fluid filled standard loss and low loss 2-winding transformers have been added to our reference library. The manufacturer data sheet did not include zero sequence impedance, so we have set it equal to the positive sequence.
A nameplate data entry method has been added to the 2-winding transformer library data entry form. This method matches as closely as possible data listed on a typical transformer nameplate and offers a variety of ways of entering impedance data:
