Details of new features & fixes across the ERACS versions.
Controls have been included on the network and graph printing forms that enable you to include/exclude the border and legend from the printed output. Please note that you can have a border without a legend, but you cannot have a legend without a border.
When a group of elements are copied and subsequently pasted into a network the paste frame is drawn the same as the original selection. Thereby, enabling you to place elements more accurately.
In order to make the diagram building more intuitive busbars may now be resized from either end and moved using any location between the ends. Note that the mouse icon changes to a double ended arrow when placed over a resize hotspot.
The identifiers of the busbars to which elements are connected has been included in the Loadflow results exported in CSV file format.
You can now rename/edit a network's name and a data state's name.
An option has been included in the 'General' tab of the Options form that enables the element hot spots to be displayed. To show element hot spots, select Options from the Tools menu. Open the General tab and tick the box labelled 'Show Element Hotspots'.
As a result of upgrading to the latest release of Delphi (Tool used to create the GUI) we are now able to include graphs in library listing for protection devices, harmonic sources and time variant functions.
It is now possible to start motors that include embedded cable.
It is now possible to insert segments into lines, cables and transformer windings. To insert a segment, select 'Insert Segment' from the element's right button popup menu. A point will be introduced midway between the selected point and the next one along. If you happen to select the last point then a point is introduced midway between the selected point and the previous one.
An option called 'Release Notes' has been added to the Help menu. When this option is selected a list of all release notes is presented. Selecting one of the items will automatically load it into the application that has been associated with files having the extension '.TXT'.
