<< IMPORTANT NOTICE >>
Development of and support for the ERACS software product will come to an end on 21 December 2023. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further assistance.
Details of new features & fixes across the ERACS versions.
Models that represent the overcurrent and earth fault functions of Schneider Electric's Easergy P5 relay have been included in our reference library.
Models of Schneider Electric's Rx2d and RN6d ring main unit circuit breaker, together with VIP400, VIP410, VIP45 and TFL trip units, have been included in our reference library.
Engineering Recommendation G5 Issue 5 (G5/5) indicates that the connection authority should provide developers with a frequency dependent impedance profile that describes the point of connection without the need to provide a complete model. ERACS has been modified to allow the frequency dependent nature of grid connections and harmonic filters to be entered as a sequence of H, R & X values.
Engineering Recommendation G5 Issue 5 (G5/5) indicates that harmonics up to the 100th may have to be considered. ERACS now enables harmonic current sources and harmonic measured voltage distortions to include harmonics up to the 100th.
A feature has been added to the post-protection control panel that creates a report listing all devices at a chosen status. The report presents information about each protection device and enables them to be easily located in the single-line diagram.
Further information about this feature is available using the associated link below.
An option has been added to the Protection Graph Manager that enables one to duplicate an existing protection graph.

The Add Element Toolbar can now be placed in ERACS' main application window and its state is remembered between ERACS sessions.

If the single-line diagram includes just one grid infeed, it is no longer necessary to choose the reference machine because the grid infeed is automatically selected.
