<< IMPORTANT NOTICE >>
Development of and support for the ERACS software product will come to an end on 21 December 2023. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further assistance.
Details of new features & fixes across the ERACS versions.
A facility has been added that enabled individual plots to be rescaled. Once a study is complete try clicking the mouse right button in the graph region. In the resulting pop-up menu select 'Re-scale'. A form with two tabs will be displayed. That labelled 'Axis' enables the maximum and minimum values of the axis to be modified. That labelled 'Plot' enables you to adjust individual plot maxima and minima.
We have added local multipliers to all shunt loads. These multipliers enable you to scale load parameters by a fixed amount. For example for loads of type MW/MVAr two multipliers are provided, one to scale the MW value and the other the MVAr value.
The protection co-ordination program now provides a feature that enabled relays whose CT have become saturated to be highlighted. This feature is available from the Device Summary form displayed at each stage of a protection study.
The maximum number of each type of element has been included on the 'Element Count' tab of the network properties form.
We have included a new reference library which addresses some issues with protection device data. This library is called ERA_Reference_Library and is located in the directory called Libraries off of the main ERACS directory. We have made this library read only with the intention that users cannot edit it since we will be updating it at future releases. Please note that you will be able to copy keys from it and of course reference keys from it. We suggest that if you wish to use keys from it that you copy them to your own library.
An option called 'Move Selection...' has been added to the Frame operations pop-up menu to enable you to move a selected area of the diagram. When the option is selected a dotted box is drawn from the top left-hand corner to the bottom right hand corner of the diagram workspace. All elements in the network will be highlighted and you will be requested to confirm whether you want to continue. If accepted the dotted box will be displayed which you will be able to move. To move the box place the mouse cursor in the box, then click and hold down the mouse left button. Now move the mouse to place the box in the desired position. On releasing the mouse left button a pop-up menu with two options will be displayed. To complete the move select 'Finish Move'.
